Hello!

My name is Mariusz Gajdzik.

I was born on 7 February 1988 in Dąbrowa Górnicza - Poland.

I began to photograph in 2007. My adventure with photography began accidentally. I realised that this is something that i want to do and I have predispositions to do it when one of my friends during holliday suggestested that I  should be responsible for making all the photos. I remember he said something like "you do this, you will take a good photo, someone else will cut our our legs, arms or heads", I agreed, took a photo and then started to be drawn in that direction.

My biggest goal became buying a SLR. I am a person, who persues his goals, in short time, with the help of my parents, I became the owner of an DSLR. I had it with me everywhere and at any time. However as some time passed, I realized that I was not satisfied with my photos, I had to set another goal for myself - making better photos. I was studying IT at that time, but it wasn't long till I realized that this is not for me, it was photography. Long story short - I quit studying IT and I switched to studying photography.

In September 2009 I went to Photography School "Fotoedukacja" in Katowice - Poland. From that moment on, everything I do, in some way, is always connected with photography. I have worked in different places to earn money for photography equipment, I try to do as many photos as I can, each better then the previous one if only possible. Another priority is watching a lot of photography of other people and to get information about the history of photography an topics related to it. 

There was an episode with analog photgraphy too, it tought me a lot and most of all it gave me a better perspective on "photographical thinking", therefire I still come back to my analog, even despite our digital era.

Photography became my life and i think that nothing can or will change that.
